Ah, the glory of technology and so forth, and good friends above all.
A couple of weeks ago, I have purchased a 6x4 Intuos3, or rather, I made the order and was subsequently told that, in fact, I don't have to pay anyone back for it. This thread is dedicated to Mike, cause he's cool. None of you know him, but trust me, he's cool. Not just because of the tablet, but because he hasn't fired gimlikins yet.
I digress.
This gorgeous, widescreen tablet, tuned perfectly to my macbook, with its 1024 pressure levels, four customiseable buttons, scrollpad, and pen that has not only another special button but three different nibs and an eraser at the end, has caused my creativity to double. Nay, triple. Heck, I'm on fire here.
It's not that a pencil isn't good enough for me. I love my m00tbook, out of order as it may be this year, but this baby came with limited versions of Painter and Photoshop. I can't keep my hands off of it.
Suffice to say, I feel like showing off a little bit, or at least letting my scribblings streak past a friendly eye or two before I decide they're actually rubbish. But as whiny as I may be, I do see myself getting better, and I do feel like this new equipment has opened a score of doors.
Here's what I found behind them.
