I swear the snow fell just for his sake. Christmas hasn't been this perfectly white in years, and unless we get a freak deluge between now and saturday, *knocks on wood* he's going to fly right into winter wonderland.
Oooh look it's snowing again.
And even if the snow goes against all expectations (the highlanders said it would stay!) and turns into that common city sludge, we're spending New Year's at 1670 m above sea level, so no excuses for a bare slope there. If the dwarf is very lucky, maybe even a
bear slope, they do sometimes wake up.
Basically, it's like my friends said...he showed me Disneyland, with the cute fake Indiana Jones mines and the Matterhorn with snow painted on it... that's all very nice, now I'll show you the budget for OUR theme park. Real snow, real mines, real history.
Now excuse me, I have things to do today...
-get christmas tree
-set up christmas tree without killing myself
-get mistletoe
-hang mistletoe without killing myself
-get more mushrooms for dinner (oh he's gonna love that
)
-bake cookies
-make about 500 uszkas
-buy a new kitchen scale (lovely time for the old one to break isn't it...and the new one won't work either, stupid electronic junk, I'm tempted to go out and buy a real scale with weights)
-dress up the house
-find the missing sleeping bag
-figure out how to fit 12 people+a great-grandson at a table meant for six
...uh yeah the rest will probably come out in the wash.
As to sleeping, Gimlikins has two options- a mattress in my room, or a bed in the basement.
And we're not dirty like you ToEGoErs so hmph!
