So quite a few of us are feeling like there's not really a place for us to go where we know our friends will be. It's like everyone is kind of scattered all over the board and it's a bit hard to search someone out. This will hopefully be the solution. It can only work if you actually come in and visit. Otherwise it will just be another thread.

I'm going to transfer some stuff over from the Griffon/Faramond thread as we've been kind of treating the thread as what this one is going to be.

10FT has been pretty busy since one of the people he works with is in New Orleans. He's given us an update about his kids and has provided some pictures:

boxy got to meet up with me, Anthy, Griffon and Faramond. She's been posting a bit more. Mwahahaha! Our evil plan of meeting up with her has lured her back! She also has freckles on her knees.

Anthy has bought a horse...or a colt?



His name is Chester. He's an orphan so he's quite lucky to have Anthy and her daughter to lavish attention on him.

Btw, I've been meaning to ask Anth, whenever I was tuning her viola I didn't see a shoulder rest in her case. Does she have one of those?

tinwe apparently has a crush on Anthy as he's demanding more photos of her.

NEE is back! Apparently she has dyed her hair blond and now has hair like Draco Malfoy. I think she also has two weeks before Uni starts?

This will hopefully be the first "chat" thread that Alatar takes part in. We all expect to see him here. It's all thanks to Sassy being tricksey and pretending to be an old lady which she so is not!

cem is busy doing lots of great work adopting out animals, will soon have a kitty moot with Ethel (Satin is sooooo gorgeous! Want to swing by Texas while you're at it and drop off another kitten Cem? ), and also got stepped on by a llama?

Estel and S_O also wanted to take part in a homebase type thread so hopefully they'll grace us with their presence...which means TheMary will be coming along as well since she and S_O are interchangeable.

Prim got a new rat a little while ago and will also be needing lots of good thoughts about her on the 22nd.

Griffy is in the States visiting Faramond. She has 8 rolls of film that should be developed by now and we are impatiently waiting for her to put them up! Also, Faramond has become a horsewhisperer. Oh, and don't let Griffy drive American cars...she forgets about the other half of the car.

nl is already planning her trip to the states next year!

Other people that should pop their head in: tosh, *E*, satch, laureanna, holby...the list could go on. Many apologies if I didn't mention your name...I've just basically been browing Aunties and Griff's thread. As the title said, all are welcome.

I haven't exactly regulated the Homebase over at TolkienOnline, but I will try to change my habits here

Hi Eru! thanks for setting up this Homebase thingy so we know where to go to find out how everyone is and such.

yes I have the route planned out for next years visit to US and Canada just have to finalise dates with all those I plan/hope to visit. Can't get airpass for a few months but that's okay. Just have to decide if I will use FF points to go to LA or pay fare and keep FF points to go to Europe again for free later on. US airfare is about $600 cheaper than say to London.

Lily is our extrovert. Her sister Violet is more like a wild rat—freezes when we walk near the cage, then scurries undercover. She's sweet enough when we manage to bring her out, but really really would rather hide. She's even prettier than Lily—big soft eyes.

That's Jacob, my brothers dog. I'm dog sitting for him over the weekend. He's such a good dog, and we're having a great time together. I think I'll keep him.
