Anth, I'm an INFP and I can't imagine taking a sales job. In fact, if I'm very very bad and go to Hell, I will have a full-time job making cold sales calls.

<resolves to be very very good>

Hal, I'm sorry for your bad mood!

sorry, anth, I'm an INTJ, but that's close... Sometimes I look like an INFJ I imagine, so I'm not surprised that was stated.

No, not feeling any better yet, but at least I'm not at work any more...

I thought you did the Triology Tuesday thing? Weren't those the EEs?
There were no trilogy tuesdays in the UK. :( I did see the first two EE's in the cinema before ROTK, but about a week apart.

So where can I take this Myers-Briggs test?

Iavas, it's HERE. L_M has a poll attached, and I was amused to find that all but six of the voters are introverts.

Ah, 'tis nice to be home... :P

:grouphug:

Prim, I still have flashbacks. :Q

Anth...I can't remember what personality type I am but I do know I'm an introvert....and my profession is teaching! Don't seem to go together do they? I do well though. I don't know if I'd ever have the guts to go into sales. I'd be worried about making enough money...at least in those commission-based jobs.

hal, can I use your thread to complain in? :P

I drove all the way out to a school to teach lessons (20 minutes/at least 15 miles) and found out that they weren't having class that day. They're on block schedule which means they go to a class every other day. Apparently they had Field Day this week which didn't count as a real day so the A/B days got messed up! I lost $45 this afternoon which stinks...not to mention the gas my car used up.

You're in a bad mood? Maybe you need some donuts. Donuts are the solution to life, the universe, and everything. *nods*

donuts... wow, that actually does sound like it would solve my problems... I'll look into it after I arrive in the land of "good" donuts tomorrow night...

From my experience, halplm, eat lots of chocolate and get people to tell you that it doesn't look like you're retaining water.

Works about 50% of the time.

Or a Krispy Kreme donut shop, perhaps.

If any food is going to do that, it's chocolate!

Hope you're already feeling better now, Hal.

We probably disagree in a lot of things but, we seem to share the same personality type so, probably what gets you in a bad mood is quite similar to what gets me in a bad mood...

Now Rowanberry gets to be hal's secret sibling, and feel that empathetic bond. <sniff> It used to be me....

:bawl:

...I'm still holding out hope for Iavas, though... c'mon Iavas.... INFJ's the way, buddy!

Ps and Js tear their hair out when they try to bond, or even work together. Witness:

J-student: So ... exactly what did you want for this huge term assignment?
P-teacher: Oh, I don't know. Show me what you've got at the end of the term and we'll go from there.
J-student: But how will I know if I've done enough work?
P-teacher: Well, it really depends on what it looks like when you get there. Just work on it until you finish it.
J-student: Can't you give me some clue as to what you are looking for?
P-teacher: Look, you are old enough now, and intelligent enough to know how to guide your own learning.
J-student: (wanders off, commences to pull hair out and mutter uncontrollably) :rage:
P-teacher: I don't know why he keeps trying to box me in. I really would rather he just do whatever it takes to get a good feel for the material. :scratch
