Hooray! Thanks for making the first post on the headline thread a cool one, yov! I didn't realize how hard it would be to NOT reply to something like that! :LMAO:

I hadn't seen that vison was done with chemo yet, so I'm happy it's working. :D

More headlines, please! :D This is great!

My pleasure, Maria. :D

So, I'll be glad to help out since I rarely feel like I have a hard time keeping up. Thing is, I'm not sure what kinds of "headlines" the people who are looking for this would want. I know you're leaving it up to the discretion of the posters but do people want stuff like postcount or birthday celebrations ("TM spams to 500,000 posts!!"), current events and political stuff ("Bush finally admits he's an idiot!!"), m77t-type stuff, or...well...I guess I'll let the people who want this say what they'd find valuable.

MH, great idea (I think it was your idea) and great thread. :) I'll be keeping my eye peeled.

And I had to restrain myself from making a smart remark there. ;)

I don't know what people want, either... but as long as the "headline" describes clearly about what the news or section of conversation is about, then people should be able to skim through pretty quickly and click on what interests them. :)

I don't see any need to limit content, really. The only thing that might be redundant would be links to threads that already have descriptive titles and no interesting osgilliations.

What a great idea, Maria. :D

I would never have had the time to spot that if Yova hadn't highlighted it.

I really hoped more people would post links. I don't know why there aren't more updates to the sticky.

I find it hard to think of stuff that people would want to see on the sticky. Most of the stuff that goes on doesn't seem important enough to merit calling attention to.

:LMAO: :D :D :D

So happy and amused by this! Someone needs to email it to Voronwe, I think he would get a kick out of it, too. :)

Thanks, Jude. I've been so hesitant to spend much time here lately, but you considerably brightened things!

I read this post, and thought WOW! That's EXACTLY what I felt when I read Jude's creation! He really did lift my spirits! I thought that when I read it, I should have commented on that! Someone here feels just the same way I do! That is so cool!

And then I saw the post was from Tinsel.

:Q

You have GOT to stop doing that.

You are SCARING me.
