If Gimli invited me to take a shower with him, I'll be declining and picking a shower on the other side of the room for him. I just hope some of the other fine and beautiful people of this board show up.

I wonder who member number will 77 be. For now, there are some reasons left beside ourselves.

Contrary to some people's opinions, I did not have an ulterior motive for this list. :P I was in class and really didn't want to be there, so instead of taking notes, well, you see what happened.

Sucking up was not the main intention!
Though my birthday is tomorrow... precious...

The order of names is just from the memberlist by join date (except that I thought we had five or six fewer people than we really do, so I had about 82 reasons and had to compensate), so don't think I hate you if you're closer to the end of the list. :P

LoR - this was nice! :D I'm so glad I joined early enough to get on the list!! :Wooper:

I just discovered something at TORC that I didn't know was there - a guild of Pennsylvanians. And I think I remember your name on a post in that thread??? Are you from PA, too? When we tried to get together for an EE-watching minimoot in Phlufya we discovered that our numbers had thinned since last year, so I'm sorta curious how many others might actually be within driving distance.

Well, I did it...I went to Gimli's showers...but if he gets close to me, I hope Rodia will be there to smack him around for me.

Anyone else coming?

Jnyusa: Penn? Can't say I ever recall posting in there. I'm on the edge of the corn belt here in Indiana. If it weren't for the fact that Ohio's in the way, I'd consider a mini-moot. ;)

Bumping this for a certain someone ;)

Thing have undoubtedly changed.... but some things have also remained the same. We're over the 150 monkey barrier but I don't care. With each new member there is a new potential for friendship.

With each new 'crisis' there is potential for ammends and a brighter future.

BLESS YOU ALL!

Thanks for bumping this. I was going to start something like it.

Here is a little game for each member here. Imagine that the world is going to end in two days. In two days you'll never see a single friend or family member of yours again. You'll never get to do that thing you really want to do next week. You'll never get to see that next birthday. You'll never get to see your kid get married or have kids of your own. In two days, you're dead. The whole damn world will be dead....

With that thought in mind, why do you care about this place? What do you want these imaginary last days of b77 to mean for you? Who do you want to say hi to, or apologize to, or tell you'll miss?

Morbid? Yes. Think about it in those respects for just a little while, though. So little will matter when you have little time to care.

I'd start a celebration thread that my senile dementia won't get any worse than it already is.
