You never give up, do you?

Yes, I was there and I did it all. And I'd do it again. We Leftists are determined to destroy America, and then the world. :D

The medical community has been wrong before! I think the irritation, if any, could just as easily be a reaction to the perfume and other chemicals they put in these products. The thing about wiping front to back is another matter, it actually makes sense. I don't buy bubble bath stuff because I am a...

Sounds like an urban myth to me. There is, in fact, no reason for a bath of any kind to cause any irritation to the "private" parts as long as you are just sitting in the bath and washed your bits only once. It's possible that it could be the other activities that regular, normal children ...

I feel pretty much the same, but not so much on this issue. There's a discussion going on elsewhere about a wretched woman who tried to kill herself and although she survived, the baby she was carrying did not. And now she is to be charged with murder. I dunno. It's beyond me. Such a horrible traged...

Well, we're doomed to disagree, Lalaith. Jail won't cure her stupidity, it will likely make it worse. Does she have other kids? Who's going to look after them while she's locked up? It costs a lot of money to keep a person in jail. Maybe she should be required to take a parenting class, or do volunt...

While what she did was criminally stupid, what's the use of putting her in jail? I don't get it. If she has any conscience, she will suffer for the rest of her life. Think of what she must think of, if she wakes up in the middle of the night.

It's still doing it to me. I changed my password a few weeks ago, although I seldom log out. Twice this past weekend I did log out and both times when I tried to log in I got that message. :rage: Another thing: sometimes I decide I want to insert a smiley after I finish typing but before I post. So ...

I sometimes think of my Mum's family.

A very interesting but probably not very "good" idea.

There are several risks associated with DNA testing by individuals: to quote an old saw, "It's a wise child who knows its own father". This is no joke. I'm not trying to be a downer, but when people start digging into their genetic makeup they should be prepared for surprises. It happens A...

I knew a woman who insisted that a rabbit had given birth to kittens. There was even a picture - in News of the World or one of those papers. Nothing I could do would convince her that it was faked. She was as dumb as a fence post, although she could move about on her legs and feed herself. Animals ...

The Shaggs. Well, you know, there's a story there and it's sorta sad. Their dad thought they were great. He "managed" their career. Not much you can say about that. Roy Buchanan, anyone? Talking about great guitar players. Me, no like SRV. But my husband sure did. And Bluegrass is SUPPOSED...

Do any of you listen to Loreena McKennit? A friend lent me two of her CDs, and they're beautiful music. She's an Irish (I believe) singer and songwriter. Some of her numbers are traditional songs or poems, and some are her own compositions. She sings harmonies with herself (ah, the wonders of techn...

It's nothing like The Blythes are Quoted. Anne is a central part of most of the stories and it's really quite lovely.
