It's already over, but it was sunny and 40F/4.4C today. I can't tell you how much of a balm that it in February, even when it only lasts a few hours.

Yeah, after a December where only one day had a high temperature below freezing, January promptly reverted to form, dumping a few inches of snow on us on New Year's day and staying average to below-average cold ever since.

It's crazy; it's like little balls of styrofoam falling from the sky and bouncing around. I guess you'd have to call it hail, but the stones are light and it's happening without a storm.

Today is the day I close my severe weather monitoring tabs for the season. For some reason Veteran's/Armistice/Remembrance Day has been a popular choice for the last big severe weather outbreak of the year, but you almost never see such things afterwards.

You're probably not misremembering given that nearly every possible claim has been made by someone somewhere, but it's not true. Post-infection aka "natural" (blah) immunity is holding up as well as or better than vaccine-induced.
