Teremia, I am not sure but is it possible that your images are saved as .bmp files instead of .jpg when you download them? IE tends to do that. BMPs are often much, much bigger because, as Rodia so eloquently explained it, JPGs are compresed. Anyway, if your file is a BMP, you can make it into a JPG...
