I just tell myself that they deal with embarassing stuff like this all day every day, and you walking in and saying something like 'my arse is itchy' is like someone coming into a secretary's office and saying 'Bill in Accounts needs that spreadsheet by 5pm'. Run of the mill, nothing extraordinary. ...

But I suppose that's a matter of taste. :D And Holby, I meant they make a cream for whatever you have that's making everyone nauseous. :P Finally Eru, I have met you in real life, and though it was a l...

Lali, you use cream instead of milk? doesn't that make the tea a bit sickly? Cream is wonderful in coffee (she said, wondering why her jeans don't fit anymore :blackeye: ) but I can't imagine it in tea - too thick.

Wow I clicked on that Britain's Got Talent link expecting to see something horrendous, but my god they're actually good! what are they doing on a shite show like that?!?

Plus, love the way the cat pokes its head slowly out of the box... then slowly lowers itself back in... :LMAO:

A few months ago, my sister was driving me home late at night through the countryside and a mother deer ran across the road with her two fawns. They came out of nowhere and we clipped the second one's back legs. It ran off, so we hoped it was ok, but that was definitely a little too close to nature....

I have a sofabed and knowledge of cheap eats/drinks/outings in Manchester, if you want to break your journey on your way down through England. :) I'd be wary of hitch hiking in the UK though - IMO the only people who'd pick you up are the weirdos. Book trains at thetrainline.com or nationalrail.com ...

Have a gander at figleaves.com. :)

I loved How to Look Good Naked! Flamboyant gay stylist aside, Gok Wan really does know what he's doing.

Is it called a saddle purse because it goes over your shoulder and sits where a 'saddle' purse would go, ie your hip? It's cute anyhow. don't have $50 though :(

Erm, so if the minutes and hours only advance when the ball goes out, surely it can't be a very accurate timepiece? :Wooper:

Ah TORC. I tried to start posting there again a few months ago, but nobody remembered me, and I didn't want to start the friend making process all over again. A very depressing experience. :( Maybe I wouldn't have posted at all if I'd had some decent aagragaah about it first.

I have a slight bit of aagragaah about my end of year recital next week, which counts towards 60% of my whole grade for this year. I'd be less aagragaah if I hadn't had a nasty bout of food poisoning over the last couple of days and had been able to practice instead of being chained to the toilet or...

Sorry, but I think I have a pretty sweet deal where I am thanks! I don't blame you for wanting to emigrate here. :D

Wouldn't say no to a pretty little holiday home in the deeps of France though... ah, je rêvais le bonheur, ardent mirage!

Aw man Stellie. :( I like Jude's suggestion of returning the piss to her - it is her property after all. I suggest the politest way would be through her letterbox... y'know so you don't disturb her by knocking or anything.

I just want to say this thread is really interesting, and I so admire the way you all argue your cases. :)

So much so that I don't feel articulate enough to voice my own opinion. :(
