Still haven't read any Prachett, but I did notice a woman that just finished Lamb on my way back from Verona to Venice. It started a wonderful conversation :)

I read the book before watching the series so when I saw Peter Dinklage as Tyrion I was like "But he's not ugly, he's good looking" beyond that Dinklage is spot on for the role.

Eric is a bigger jag in the show than he is in the books, but he's pretty fiesty in the books. Read the books River totally different vibe than the show since they've changed stuff quite a bit. In fact Sookie is one of my least favortie characters, as is Tara can we just kill her off? Lafayette howe...

I'm nearly finished with the first book and can't wait to start playing catch-up with the HBO series. I noticed Eru's comment on Facebook about having to wait a whole week for another installment so I can't wait to tune in.

I've read the "Dead" series and have the current book waiting for me on my Nook. I watch True Blood. They are both very entertaining but have their differences. After last season and reading the synopsis of the most recent book it seems Charlaine Harris is possibly taking the show and tran...

So many actors learn new accents for roles that it probably doesn't matter. I'm constantly surprised to find that actors I thought were American were born somewhere else and have no trace of an accent in their roles.
But those actors you speak of can speak flawless English. Bardem doesn't.
