Well my loves, this has been a hoot and a woot! But time for me to go back to real life and to my pillow.

I'll leave a big plateful of cinnamon buns for the later arrivals and dropping-in folks, and other time-zoners.

Smooch to all!

Long live B77!! :cheers

Maiden, I used your thread to welcome people since I didn't feel like I knew them well enough to start a thread. Hope that was okay!

Time for me to say goodnight, too, folks.

Many congratulations and thanks and buckets of roses to our Rangers who got everything done on time, and to our convention committee members who finally got enough of that darn charter finished for us to have this party tonight. It was a SUPER job by everyone.

Of course it's okay, Eru! The whole point of a welcome thread is welcoming people! :D

AHHHHH . . . BREATHE THE FREE AIR AGAIN, MY FRIENDS!!!

Although absent at the moment of our opening, I was here in spirit . . . if you consider chasing my two kids up and down the aisles of our nearby Genuardi's grocery store as being here in spirit.

SIGNED,

THE RESIDENT TEMPORARILY NOT-SO-MISERABLE POLTROO

*Begins to laugh*

Somehow, I'd sort of forgotten/missed this - and when I logged in today, I felt run over by a crazy gang of new, crazy posters... Whoa!

Back for more partying! :D

Jny - gah, too bad about your server-troubles - good to see you here now, though!

Absolutely!

As Sir Humphrey Appleby said in tones of horror, when he heard the Minister had gone somewhere without telling him: "You mean he's loose in the building?" :D

Sassy, thank you!
I slept as well as you can when it's already daylight when you get to bed.

Eru, no I'm not sleep deprived, just a night owl, and totally unemployed right now, which means on no day of the week am I forced to get up at a decent time - and when there's nothing to force me, I just can't force myself. So I mostly get to bed around three or later and usually get up at around eleven. If ever I get a job again, it'll take some getting used to the change. :Q

(snerk)

You should have seen what they dressed Voronwe in. I hear he quite liked it.
Jny got locked up (I almost wrote banged up but it wasn't that good a party) and needed an armed gang to rescue her.
She rewarded us with a striptease. (well just a tuxedo which is what you guys call a dinner jacket but don't lets be ungrateful) There was something about handcuffs too.
Did I mention cinnamon buns?
It all got a bit hazy after a while (hmm just after those cinnamon buns :scratch ) and it was way past my bedtime so who knows what happened later or even what happened behind the furniture. And someone has left a fern behind. Fishy, that.

Oh good then, now we can start the party.

And even I don't wanna know what "cinnamon buns" is supposed to be a euphomism for. :Q
