They need to make rare random world enemies drop blues. Once that is done I think I will have 0 complaints about pre-60 WoW.
I've gotten lots of blue drops from world enemies, and even one purple one...

My biggest complaint right now is that the bottom seems to have fallen out of my server's economy. I can't sell anything at auction despite slashing my prices, and I can never find anything to buy either. :(

Also, has the deposit formula changed, or did I just never notice how much they were before all my stuff stopped selling?

Well I finally got both the regular and epic ram for my 50 warrior and the full brewfest regalia for both my banker alts, and if I never have to run around in circles delivering barrels of ale again, it will be too soon!

Dave--
I think he meant that rare spawns (especially the elites) should drop blues.

Some do. Witness the stun-o-matic Tidal Charm from Prince whathisface off Artahi, the love of pvp twinks everywhere. Or the Basilisk Blade from Old Ironsides in the Shimmering Flats...great proc when it works lol. But it's blue!

BTW, if you haven't done the Headless Horseman quest yet, it's actually a lot of fun and decent loot too. I ran through it five times Friday night. :D

And on PVP servers it's extra fun for the Horde...;)

According to the Youtube comments, it was a commercial played during a recent football game for the Toyota Takoma.

And yes, the Headless Horseman quest is indeed quite fun. Not only can you get a very nice epic helm, but the rings he drops are quite good too. Further, you can use the candy he drops to give yourself a quick speed boost when trying to run out of Gruul's lair whilst wiping on High King Maulgar. :P

Does anyone have even a ballpark idea of how long it will take patch 2.3 to move from the test servers to the real ones? I'm wondering if I should put off leveling my sub-60's until after it's out.

Given Blizz's track record, I think you're probably looking at 2-3 weeks.

I'm currently leveling a pally (at almost 50 now), and though I thought about holding off until 2.3 I've just been having too much fun questing in the pre-BC areas to stop. :)

P.S. Don't spend any of your honor or arena points until 2.3. We're looking at a significant reduction in costs for existing items, as well as lots of pretty new stuff to drool over once it comes out.

And they made heroic keys available at honored! Woo-hoo! Not to mention finally giving me a reason to buy 300 riding...saw a video of the engineering mount being flown by a priest in shadowform and fell in lust. :D

Just find a good Warlock & run some heroic Mechanar, Ax. With a decent group you'll get 4-5 badges of justice per run, some nice drops, and it's quick. Before you know it you'll be revered and able to buy the sweet head piece enchant from the Sha'tar vendor. :D

Our guild is decidedly light on locks and shammys. I'm going to finish leveling my lock up (he's at 49) after the patch, and that'll be our first one in Outland. :Q

I do like what Wowwiki has to say about the place:

On Heroic mode, these first three bosses are known as the Three Free Badges
:D

Oh you'll love running it as a Lock. Locks are the kings of crowd control in Mechanar. You'll be banishing, enslaving, fearing, and using your succubus to seduce all throughout.

So much fun.

Ok, help me out. I'm a 55 fury warrior and I've just acquired some blue Hydralick Armor. I currently have Bloodforged Chestpiece of the Monkey (+14 agi/stam). I should be able to sell the Hydralick for somewhere between 50 and 100g. Is it worth equipping or not? I don't do instances, so I'm limited to the gear I can get from drops or the AH. Equipping it would mean losing 6 agi, but gaining a bunch of str and sta (not to mention the fire resistance).

If you have burning crusade it'll be replaced within seconds of entering Hellfire Peninsula. I say sell it.

I don't have BC, and don't have any specific plans to get it at this point.

Just so I don't leave everyone holding their breath ;), I've decided to try auctioning it. If it hasn't sold by Monday, I'll equip it along with a new necklace of a crapload of agility I just found.

Well I wanted to get my warrior to 60 before 2.3 came out and made that trivial, and it looks like I just barely made it. I don't know if leveling two characters from 1 to 60 (plus one 45 and a bunch of 20-30's) in 11 months is good, standard, or just really sad, but I've done it. :)
