Again, are you sure that your credit card isn't expired? I know it shouldn't matter, but there could be a safeguard in the system that you cannot bypass if the card is expired.

It was expired (I only use Paypal about once a year) - so I updated the card, and still got the same message.

Incidentally, their promise to respond to emails within 24 hours is a lie. :suspicious:
