I suppose so. The concept behind Ender's Game was what initially attracted it to me. However, the concept behind Speaker for the Dead, while interesting, doesn't really sound like the kind of book I'd be interested in. I suppose I'll read it anyway, to see what it's like.

It looks like the negative or inverted colors of an anime drawing. Or the color scheme just be rather odd, I suppose.

True. Hard to compare with a sideways picture of a smiling torso, chin, and nose.

Not to mention that William Wallace flayed one of his first enemies and wore the man as a belt.


And that the movie is chock-full of badass quotes that has never been duplicated until the release of 300.


And the Scottish accents. You gotta love the accents.

Very hairy, scruffy, sunglass'ed, and quite badass.

Got my copy and read it and really enjoyed it. I couldn't even recall the story very well from the first time I read it, so it was mostly new. I really enjoyed Alan Lee's drawings, (I've always been a big Lee fan) and now I need to scan them and put them up in some signatures.
